  • Each candle at the Riau Candle Co. is hand-poured by our team of ladies. There is no automation here at Riau Candle Co., our goal is that we are able to provide jobs to those in need, and guarantee quality and consistency in our product as well. All Essential Oils & Wicks are sourced from ethically conscious organizations. We value transparency and 100% of our proceeds go back into this project and other social impact projects in Indonesia.

  • Recycling and Reuse Program

    We make a conscious effort to participate in the circular economy by making our product as sustainable as possible. In order to reduce our contribution on marking our carbon footprint, we now accept your used candle glass and box in a good/fair condition to be recycled. As we are doing this practice, we would appreciate your understanding that candle you purchased may be in a brand new or recycled glass or box. Either way you will still enjoy our candle the same.

  • HOW TO?
    1. Bring back glass and box for recycling to our store (applicable only in Batam, Indonesia) or drop off (applicable only in Singapore)*Check out our next event to drop off your used Riau candle glass and packaging.
    2. REUSE our product. Ways to reuse our products:- Reuse for personal use, as a container for your miscellaneous - Box for as an organizer, to put in gifts, etc
    3. Bring your own bag #BYOB It is in our conscious to reduce the amount of waste possibly made from purchasing our candle. We will no longer be providing bag/ carrier for your purchases in our upcoming events and pop-ups. We will only provide our tote bag for bulk purchases with minimal amount. It is also available to be purchased if you really like our bag. Please bring your own bag when coming down to check us out!
